New 27,500 TEU Container Ship
China has debuted a record-breaking giant containership design at the world’s largest shipping exhibition. Developed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s (CSSC) Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute, the 27,500 TEU GREEN SEALION was unveiled on 3 Sep at the SMM Hamburg Maritime Exhibition, where it received its Approval in Principle (AiP) certificate from DNV classification society, reported World Cargo News.
